Citation Pattern: Author + Year + Punch
How you cite matters as much as what you cite.
The pattern
'According to [author], [year], [one-line claim].' Then explain WHY it matters. That's it. Don't read the whole article.
Example
'According to Pew Research, 2024, 78% of Americans under 30 want federal action on housing — meaning the political pressure is already there.'
